Whatsapp camera keep crashing when sending photo

The Whatsapp camera keep crashing when i try to send picture thru whatsapp.
Please fix it as this problem existed since the first beta version of Android M.  I don't think it is that hard to fix!!!

So disappointed on Asus and decided not to buy another Asus phone ever......

Have you made a clean installation? I mean downgrade to Lollipop, install update, install latest MM.
I have never have that kind of problem so I think is not a system bug.

It frequently frozen when it launches the camera within Whatsapp...

Then after frozen at the camera screen, it frequently force close the camera window entirely and display message: "Cannot start camera, please restart the phone...."

This very same problem happened since the first Android M Beta......    only improved slightly since the first beta....   from 0 picture out of 10 attempts to 3 pictures out of 10 attemps now
I also did factory reset after I install .184 ROM...  but same problem

I use  WW-4.21.40.184(andriod M), whats app version 2.16.396, asus camera version 2.0.66.0, and I could launch the camera within Whatsapp, please kindly refer below link.

please go settings > apps > (1.) asus camera app (2.) whats app > clear data and cache

Same goes to mine. But for me, it happens occasionally instead. When the camera is launched from whatsapp, the entire camera goes unresponsive for few seconds, even worse sometimes it just stuck there. Have to force close whatsapp and wait for a few seconds before it started to work again. Never happen in lollipop version tho. The problem only arise when upgraded to marshmallow. I'm on latest .184 firmware.
