Nougat Update (7.1.1) for Selfie (Lineage OS 14.1)

Steps to update to Android Nougat (Lineage OS )

Requirements:
1 Zenfone selfie Phone , I am sure u have this

2 TWRP Recovery   : download from here  https://dl.twrp.me/Z00T/twrp-3.0.2-5-Z00T.img

3 Lineage OS (14.1) : download from here  https://download.lineageos.org/Z00T

4 Gapps x64 : go to http://opengapps.org/

   Select ARM64 , then select 7.1 , then select micro , then click the red download arrow link to download open gapps

5 Unlock bootloader tool from zenfone selfie :
     download from here http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS ... 82983920.1481955823

6 IMP NOTE : by unlocking bootloader u will no longer recieve OTA update from asus and your phone's warranty will be void, So I recommend this to only those people whos phone is out of warranty or who know what they are doing, I will not taking responsibility of any hard bricked device , do at your own risk.

7 Android debug bridge (ADB) download from here https://onedrive.live.com/?authk ... =root&action=locate

will install this on windows computer.

Charge your phone to 100% and copy all downloaded files in above steps to internal storage of phone

Install unlock bootloader app and unlock bootloader, make sure it says success otherwise run it again.  restart phone

Now on a windows pc with ADB installed from step 7.

create a folder on pc desktop and put the twrp downloaded from step 2 into this folder
do not rename it in my case name of downloaded file was "twrp-3.0.2-5-Z00T.img"

Now connect your phone to pc via usb
make sure you enable usb debugging on phone.
To enable usb debugging, go to settings and then select about , then tap on builder number several times to enable developer option. next go to settings again and go to developer option and select usb debugging, make sure its checked.

Now open folder you created earlier press shift key on keyboard and simultaneously right click on mouse button on empty space in folder, Select "Open command windows here "

Type "adb devices" on command prompt first , this will give a prompt on mobile, you have to accept the pop up on mobile to allow adb to work further

now on command window we will type "adb reboot bootloader" to boot into fastboot mode, phone will restart and will boot into fastboot
verify your PC sees the device by typing "fastboot devices" in command window.
you should see a device serial number after typing above command.

Now we will flash TWRP recovery. command to type in command prompt is

"fastboot flash recovery name_of_recovery_file.img " ( in my case it was "twrp-3.0.2-5-Z00T.img") so entire command again will look like "fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-5-Z00T.img"
now we will boot into twrp on phone
To boot into twrp

type:  fastboot boot twrp-3.0.2-5-Z00T.img .  this will boot phone into twrp


now once booted into TWRP recovery to install Lineage OS first select Wipe and then select advanced wipe , now select Dalvik/Art Cache, System, data, cache , ASDF, and finally swipe to advance wipe

now come back on main screen on twrp and select install and select the Downloaded lineage os package and select install
same way install gapps, now select wipe cache partition and reboot to system

now You have android nougat installed successfully. enjoy.

Is it official release from asus or third-party...

In  This lineage os, the gesture like C,E,V,Z are working or not? And the double tap to on/off screen is working in the lineage os or not?please give me the answer

All gestures are working , double tap to on is working and double tap on top bar to turn off screen works, One more additional feature, Face Unlock to unlock your mobile, it works like charm

Hey bro did u noticed ..  Asus camera pixel app has stopped when clicked pic in depth of filed mode. ??

Yup u are right camera app stopped when depth of field is selected, although on other modes its working well. Seems like depth of field mode requires additional framework which is present only in stock rom and missing from lineage os
