Long story short, it's impossible for current smartphones with a huge mAh to be "fast-charged" due to hardware limitations, so I'm afraid it isn't possible 
To be a little more specific, the micro-usb connection of almost all smartphones(like the Zenfone Max) limits the ampere draw on the cable which greatly affects the charging time :/
Even all other 5k mAh devices would experience slow charging speed. More mAh = longer time to make it full, so please take this into consideration 
Type-C cellphones on the other hand support bigger power draws on their cables that's why a Zenfone 3 with 3000 mAH can fully charge at 1.5 hours. I hope my explanation gave you an insight on why it's not possible for the Max to have a fast charging
