After Discontinuing Asus Backup App many users have a question on how will you backup your device now ? Which Application to use ? Which is the best App ? Is there any easy way around ?

So in this article these questions will be answered the methods & App's are tried & tested one's not the best we can say in the Playstore or the best Methods but, these App's & tricks make sure that your job is done.

Mostly we recommend users to Factory reset their device so that their device can have a fresh restart or a clean way to start off with the new firmware.

So starting off we will look into the possible files user keep in their device's.

Listed below are the files & to back them up before factory reset or might be changing device will be helpful :

1. App's - May include just the App or even the data also.
2. Video's
3. Images - May be stored in different locations generated from different App's
4. Games - Most Important Data
5. Documents
6. Songs

Though your most important information will automatically be backed up to your Google account, it’s also prudent to save your ZenFone’s data locally in case anything catastrophic happens to it.

Here’s how to back up all of that information for personal security.

First off, let’s ensure that wireless cloud syncing is enabled. This ensures that the latest information from your ZenFone is already being sent to Google on an ongoing basis. You don’t have to worry about e-mail or contacts, since they already exist on your mail server, be it Google’s or otherwise. Let’s make sure photo sync is enabled to start. Don’t worry, even though these pictures are being uploaded online, they’re private until you manually mark them otherwise.

1. Tap the grid of nine dots at the bottom and middle of the screen to view all apps.
2. Tap the Google folder, and tap the Photos icon.
3. Tap the menu icon in the top-left, and tap Settings.
4. Tap Back up & sync.
5. Tap the On toggle at the top.

Meanwhile, contacts, calendar, and contacts are all synchronized with your Google, Outlook, or other account on setup. Here’s how to ensure your data is properly being backed up to those outside servers.

1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to bring down the notification tray, and tap the gear icon in the top-right to open the settings menu.
2. Tap Accounts under the Personal sub heading.
3. Tap the account your data is being synced to (most likely Google).
4. Tap the specific account within if necessary and check the boxes next to calendar, contacts, mail, and any other data you wish to have synced up to the cloud.

So there are App's to backup & restore, Cloud services to backup important files.

Cloud Service's

1. Google Drive:

As a default Google service you get 15GB of storage from Google, but this is a combined storage space of all the services provided by Google. As Asus users new users get additional 100GB storage. So Drive could be a good option to backup files like Images, documents. Drive storage or any Cloud storage can't be utilized much as there is limited internet connectivity in India. Even if the Internet is good but there will be speed constraint.
