Zenfone AR Launch - Highlights | Know What Happened At The Launch

Hey guys, Long time no see...

Here I am back in action and sharing my experience my of the newly launched phone from ASUS i.e, Zenfone AR. Which was launched in Delhi a couple of days ago at The Lalit Hotel.

The Zenfone AR is the world's first phone which was announced back in January that has an 8GB Ram and is both Tango AR and Daydream VR ready.

So guys, without further ado let me take you to the venue where the Zenfone AR Launched.

The Lalit Hotel, This is where the Zenfone AR was launched.

So, after reaching the hotel I went into the venue hall, had some snacks, met the other Dr.Zens / fellow people and then I settled down on my seat as the launch was about to start in a couple of minutes when I reached.

The Stage is all set-up as the launched was about to start.

After the event started by our host, Mr. Peter Chang (Regional Head of South Asia | Country Head, India) took the stage and began talking about the Innovations and continued with his presentation.

After that, Dinesh Sharma (Director Mobile Product Head, India) came up to the stage to carry forward the presentation and showed the demo of apps & games and after some time as he ended with his demo, Mr.Supratik Ghatak (Co-founder, Renewate) also came up on the stage to show the demo of RENEWATE app using which you can design your own house in AR.

Now, after all the demo Mr.Dinesh Sharma began with the presentation, where he talked about the Hardware Specifications, AR Technology and Daydream Features of the Zenfone AR.

After Mr.Dinesh Sharma ended, Mr.Larry Paulson (Vice President & President, Qualcomm) came up on the stage where he talked about the Snapdragon 821 Processor in Zenfone AR and Its optimization for the Tango.

Here at this point Mr.Ajay Veer Yadav (VP-Mobiles & Mobile Accessories, Flipkart) came up for a short time, to talk about their relationship with ASUS and the availability of Zenfone AR will be exclusively on Flipkart with some exclusive and exciting offers like Rs.2500/- off on Daydream View VR Headset on purchase along with Zenfone AR and up to 100 GB free data offer from Reliance Jio on every purchase of Zenfone AR.

After all the presentations and stuff, the only thing that's left was the pricing for which Mr.Peter Chang took the stage.

And, Revealed the price for the Zenfone AR i.e, Rs.49,999/-.

Demo Zone

After the price reveal, the demo zone was opened and here I clicked some shots of the Zenfone AR.

At last, as the event ended here, I took a group picture with all the Dr.Zen that were present at the launch event, though @digicool, @Toonster and @saurabhguttedar9 are missing in this picture.

So, guys, this was a wrap-up and it was all we had for the launch of Zenfone AR. I'll share more articles and pictures with you if I'll get the device to review soon.
