Rear Camera not focusing

Hi Yogesh,

The rear camera wont focus if you take the camera very very close to the object.

Let us know if your rear camera is not able to focus on normal objects.

There might also be some hardware issue.

Hi Max_Asus,

I have Asus Zenfone 3(ZC552KL). I am also facing the same issues it does not focus on object it react on opposite note. When I touch on object showed in camera then it focus on background and defocus the object itself. This issue is persisted since Asus has given Android 7 updates to Zenfone 3 series. Reallly devs provide update for solving this issue.

Camera performance was awesome in Android 6 and battery drain again is matter of concern in Anrdoid 7.

so true please asus dont give that boring step again its really autofocus issue please consider it in next update

Considering it a hardware issue I sent my device for rectification of the problem. My device returned today from Service Center, but no improvement in focusing.

While opening the camera, try to cover the laser using your finger for a few seconds (15-20sec) and release. It should fix the camera focusing problem (well at least it fixed mine). 

yeahh i also face the same problem. but i found solution, first reset the manual options if u changed the options, then go to camera settings>select focus&exposure>select Smart auto focus or Continuous auto focus. then close the camera and reopen then touch the subject you want to focus.
