What is E-waste

E-waste is an acronym for Electronic Waste, E-waste means any outdated or obsolete electronic device, it can be found everywhere home, the office's in your pocket to name a few. In today's world, the growing technology has made more & more usage of electronic devices. Users tend to update their electronic devices faster than ever before, The production of electronic devices is at an all-time high.

Why do we need proper E-waste Management

Old computers, notebook computers, and other electronic equipment contain hazardous chemicals that can be harmful to the environment when disposed of in a landfill with trash. By recycling, the metals, plastics, and components found in an old computer will be broken down and reused to make new products. And, the environment is protected from any uncontrolled release of harmful chemicals.

How to Manage

After we went through what E-waste is & why do we need E-waste Management, let us look briefly the 2 main components of the same, namely how it should be properly channelized & whats the final recycling process.

Proper Channelization

Channelization means how the process will work, how a normal user can help as this is also a responsibility of End-user as well as Companies to channelize things properly for smooth flow.
For E.g. A user can either send their Electronics waste to a particular point or call to the companies taking initiative for E-waste Management.
