Android Auto not detecting device

Do anybody have any Idea why my device is not getting connected to android auto. The android auto stereo is the one that comes with grand i10. When usb is connected, the stereo should detect android device and the android auto icon in it should get highlighted. However there's nothing such happening. There's no problem with the bluetooth though.

Can you try changing your USB and check.

I tried like 3-4 different usb cables and it still doesnt detect. Need to check it with other mobile. Are you sure, this device supports amdroid auto?

Try changing USB Cable as mentioned by MAX_ASUS.
Also try troubleshooting as given in link https://support.google.com/androidauto
