Proved !! Zenfone 2 Laser Support Quick Charge.

I read few thread and I found that members and one of the moderator are saying that Asus Zenfone 2 ZE550KL does not support quick charge.. Well I purchased one and now I have proof that Asus ZenFone 2 laser support quick charge.. See the 3 images below. There is  Cleanly Written the Mobile Model number and the quick charge icon... I hope all the members and Moderator get the Idea that Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL support Quick Charge..

Good one dude...  You have solved many people doubts... can you please tell me is it boostmaster 1.0 or 2.0....  as many say its 1.0 like in asus zenfone selfie....  

I have laser 3GB version, its box doesn't have a symbol like yours and it doesn't support quick charge 2.0...

Ofc it does.. They think quickcharge means mobile will charge in 2hrs.. It means dat more than half the percentage of battery will be charged very fast so you can use it if you are in hurry..ri8?

can i use Quick Charger   ? Is that work with my model
its take 3 Hrs 10 Min 1% to 100% Normal asus charger

If you can't find any evidence of quick charge in  your phone box cover then you may cancel the decision to buy a quick charger.. Save your money...


I am saying because Asus must be print quick charge icon in the box because user can get better benefits and choose Asus phone if they show quick charge i con in box.. We call this are Essential Features.. !!

Yes it support Quick Charge 2.0. The Screenshot was directly taken from Snapdragon website. You can see there Is written that Snapdragon 410 Processor support Quick  Charge 2.0 That means It have Quick Charge 2.0 Feature

Yes 410 supports quickcharge, but the thing is that not all 410 embedded mobiles support quick charging, due to other hardware restrictions only if processor supports, motherboard maynot support... in some laser case this is the thing, 3Gb high end laser version atleast doesnt support quick charging... b/w my 3GB version has 615 which as a processor supports quick charge, but unfortunately mobile doesn't....You are lucky that your model supports quick charge, can you kindly tell me what are your model specs??

Hi There, Though the Qualcom Snapdragon 41 0 chipset does support quick charging version 1.0 but that does not mean your phone will also support it without additional hardware. There has to be a amalgamation from both sides i.e the handset manufacturer and chipset manufacturer. Its a hardware implentation from the handset manufacturer. So Asus has not implemented this on Laser. However, cheaper devices like Redmi 2 supports Quick Charge because xiaomi has implemented it with additional hardware.
SD410 supports 1.0 and 615 supports 2.0 and the newer chips such as SD617 support 3.0 but that's not by default as i mentioned.

Now the Bootmaster technology is only based on Intel Processor as someone asked.

The Initial Asus Boxes had printed Quick Charge on them but after October or in their newer packaging they replaced the Quick Charge Logo with Gorilla Glass 4. So that could be a mistake by Asus which later has been rectified. How do i know this ? Because my friend got a phone in Aug and I got it in Oct. That's why i have seen the difference in boxes.
