How to Relock Bootloader on ZenFone 2(ZE551ML ONLY)

Hi Friends,
            I Unlocked the bootloader of my ZenFone ZE551ML for Flashing Custom ROM. For this the Warranty of my ZenFone got Void. You unlocked BootLoader of your Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) and want Warranty back? Just Follow my Instructions.


First I will not take any responsibility of any fault. Do it with your own Risk.

Things to Download:
1.ZE551ML RAW File
2. ASUS Flash Tool Installer
3. Recovery.img
4. Boot.img  
5. Droidboot.img
6. ADB Tool
7. Letest Flimwear

-:ReLock Bootloader:-

A. ON ASUS FLASH TOOL:

1. Install ASUS Flash Tool on your Laptop/PC

2. Reboot Zenfone 2 to Bootloader (Power + Volume up and relese when phone Vibrate)

3. Open ASUS Flash Tool

4. Select ZE551ML model on Drop Down Menu

5. Select Extracted RAW file on ASUS Flash Tool

6. Chose Wipe data

7. Connect ZenFone 2 to PC using USB Cable (On Bootloader Mode)

8. Your Device will appear on Flash tool app if Not ReConnect usb cable to PC

9. Select Your Device and Click on Start

10. Wait Untill it Finishes.

B. ON ADB TOOL: (Not Must but you should Do it)

1. Install ADB tool

2. Paste Recovery.img, Boot.img and DroidBoot.img in a single Folder

3. Get back where the folder is not where the files are

4. Click Shift + Right Click on the Folder

5. Click on Open Command Here

6. Reboot Zenfone 2 to Bootloader (Power + Volume up and relese when phone Vibrate)

7. Connect it to PC using USB Cable

8. Type these Commants

           fastboot flash fastboot droidboot.img

           fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

           fastboot flash boot boot.img

C. On Mobile:(Not Must but you should do it)

1. Download Letest Flimwear

2. Paste it to Internal Storage

3. A notification for update will appear

4. Update your Device

Note:  You may not get System Update also after unlocking BootLoader. Because ASUS might have already banned your device from receiving OTA updates.

Finish.... You have relocked bootloader of your ZenFone 2 ZE551ML.

When? After Flashing or before?

When i use Asus Flash Tool . This is my picture

Good share. Your note at the end is little confusing because if we can get the warranty back by using the said method, Why not OTA?? What I mean is if Asus servers can detect whether the boot-loader was unlocked or not during OTA, they can very well tell the same during warranty claim.

Some people is getting OTA and Some are not. I am not getting also. I contacted Zentalk modaretors they said that I mentioned that I have rooted my device and for this they have blocked me from getting OTA.

Make sure that your device is in Bootloader mode and Use Good USB cable... Recomeded to use 3.0 usb port of pc
