Up-gradation of Zenfone 5 (T00J) from Lollipop to Marshmallow

Hi... Good afternoon.

Can I upgrade my Zenfone 5 (Model T00J) from OS Android 5.0 Lollipop to Marshmallow? Will it be safe practice and beneficial? Please guide.

STRAIGHT ANSWER== NOT SAFE AT ALL.
you have to unlock bootloader for it so warranty goes null and void.
since its not an official update bugs are present in it:
1] No gps & FM
2] lots of unknown issues like data connectivity issue
3] battery drain
4] mobile signal ok but battery stats showing no signal
5] freezing/random reboots.

yes its bit stable for daily use but no completely.
and yes lots of people has bricked their devices also

I dont have freezing/random rebbots, battery drain. I have only GPS and FM issue. But freezing problem is because there are lots of different ZenFone 5.

1. true, there is no source code for gps module for x86
2. I had no issues on CM13 by x anvar
3. like above, battery was much better than on stock LL and similar to KK
4. no issues on CM13 for me
5. its fault of inproper unlocked bootloader - some devices have this issue, some not. On some devices there is no random freeze  but there is "camera not found" issue. I dont have any problem mentioned here.

On all custom roms there is problem with recording videos in full hd - its laggy. In lower resolutions its ok.

ARP_ASUS atleast forward the freezing issue of zenfones 5 after unlocking the bootloader to asus devloper team. atleast all zenfone users who are facing freezing issue get rid of this problem. and enjoy custom rom for thier phones. hope to positive reply from you sir.

I have Asus model T00J.. And I still don't know how to update it from KitKat to lollipop.  lzz suggest me all step for that.
