ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL 2J028IN Review : Sound And Display
I have adopted my own rating formula in 1..10 Scale as follows:
(Rating)10=(Zenfone Deluxe ZS570KL Score/Maximum Score of a particular Device)*10
I have tried to implement it in each and every cases as much as possible.
So! Let us start!
After opening Settings, a lot of options are there. It is as usual. Some new entries are there. But I will concentrate only on Sound and Display.
Now! Let us start for Sound!
The Sound And Notification menu is also as usual.
But there is also another new entry as Vibration Intensity. So, there is an option to change the intensity of vibration for Incoming Call, Notifications as well as Touch Feedback. It is great.
And another new option is also there to show the Apps that requires Do Not Disturb Access.
Again there is also another new feature after pressing Volume Up or Volume Down button to get the option for Outdoor Mode as Off or On for better Sound Clarity of Ringing Tone or other Notification Sounds when we are out of the room or in the crowded area. This is very special feature. Thanks to ASUS Team.
Finally, I have played some sample MP3 Files encoded to 320 KBPS at maximum volume. Both the Sound Quality, Sound Pitch and Sound Clarity are incredible in Speaker. Sound Volume is also very much high in Speaker. Then I have observed the same through ZenEar. My experience was awesome with perfect combination different level of sounds. Really! It was incredible experience.
In other way I can say that I have performed one test. I have played a particular MP3 File encoded to 320 KBPS by PlayerPro Music Player 3.94 without PlayerPro DSP Pack 5.3 at maximum volume in Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL, Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL and Asus Zenfone 5 A501CG. Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL Sound Output Volume attained the Highest Level.
I am sure that there is no smartphone other than Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra ZU680KL can compete with Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL.
I have also performed another test to measure the Sound Output Volume in support of my view. Then I have played a particular MP3 File encoded to 320 KBPS by PlayerPro Music Player 3.94 without PlayerPro DSP Pack 5.3 at maximum volume in Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL, Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL and Asus Zenfone 5 A501CG and simultaneously I have measured the Sound Output Volume in dB by Sound Meter Pro 2.5.2. The result is 89 dB.
All the devices available to me have beaten by Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL.
Here is the details :
So the increasing order of Sound Output Volume (In dB) is
Zenfone 5 A501CG->Zenfone 2 ZE551ML->Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL->Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL
So the increasing order of Sound Output Volume (Audible) is
Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL->Zenfone 5 A501CG->Zenfone 2 ZE551ML->Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL
As ASUS have promised that the sound in Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL will be 20% louder with new and advanced five-magnet speaker and SonicMaster 3.0, the above comparison clearly states that ASUS has kept its promise in this regard.
The same AudioWizard is also present for Audio Enhancement and Audio Calibration. It is as usual as previous Zenfone Version except the new Outdoor Mode. Both the Outdoor Mode and Smart Mode are not customizable. Those are predefined.
Drawback : There is no Stereo Speaker. It is Mono Speaker only.
My rating is = I will give 9 out 10 (I will cut 1 mark due to the Mono Speaker).
Conclusion : If the Sound Quality is the prime requirement or one of the prime requirements then Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL must be one of the choices other than Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra ZU680KL.
Henceforth! Let us start for Display!
Display menu is as usual. Previously, the default Screen Color Mode was Balance Mode. Now the same has been replaced by Super Color.
The new entry is Touch Key Light Always On/Off.
Daydream is also available.
Analog Clock or Digital Clock or Colours can be used as Daydream.
As Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL uses Super AMOLED Display, there is an option as Always-On Panel to check time and date when the device is on standby. There are 5 Clock Styles available.
ASUS Splendid menu is also as usual. I have already mentioned that the only difference is the Balance Mode is replaced by Super Color Mode. As earlier as, the option of live scenario is also available.
Note : There is no such Night Mode or any Scheduler for Bluelight Filter so that it can be activated in Night time only and also can be deactivated in Day time only automatically as I have suggested earlier.
Let us examine the available ZenUI 3.0 features of Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL. The menu is as usal. The scrollable Wallpaper as well as Wallpaper Motion Effect is present.
But I have found one new effect here. After opening ASUS Quick Settings from the top drawer, there is one Background Blur Effect to view the ASUS Quick Settings screen more prominently. Thanks again ASUS Team for implementing this.
Finally, I have opened three images simultaneoustly on my 4 Zenfones i.e. Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL, Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL and Asus Zenfone 5 A501CG and placed together (Order from left to right is Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL, Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL and Asus Zenfone 5 A501CG) and taken some shots by my another Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML to show the difference in display quality of those devices. For this test, all my devices was in default configuration i.e. Screen Color Mode to Balance/Super Color Mode and Brightness Level was Automatic Brightness.
After observing the above images, I think it not worth mentioning that all my devices have beaten by Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe ZS570KL. It is the ultimate one!
My rating is = I will give 9.75 out 10 (I will cut 0.25 mark due to the absence of Nightmode or Bluelight Scheduler).
So the final Sound Score is 9 out of 10.
So the final Display Score is 9.75 out of 10.
