Hi Zenfans !
I'm back with the Camera & Gaming Review of the ZenFone 3 Ultra.
Let's check its Camera first.
CAMERA REVIEW:-
Zenfone 3 Ultra has a 23 MP Sony IMX-318 Sensor rear camera and 8 MP front camera, both with f/2.0 aperture.
Also, 4 axis Optical Image Stabilization and 3 axis Electronic Image Stabilization works like a charm.
There are total of 20 camera modes, which only ASUS can provide !:-P
All the images on this device are clicked on HDR_Auto. Hence it holds the actual colour and as its display is excellent, photos look more vibrant !
Now, let me show you some of the shots clicked on Zenfone 3 Ultra.
See the red here ! It blurs the background to this level without depth of field mode...i.e in Auto mode.
Loved the blur here !
Lol. The sky was not at all this blue ! Maybe the HDR Mode made it blue...Thanks to it.
These shots were clicked on Depth Of Field mode...my favourite mode in PixelMaster !
This was taken in low light condition using Auto mode.
This is the same photo, but using Low Light mode. It brought plenty of light into the image. But, made the streetlight lamp overexposed. I think that happens in the low light mode !
Now lets test its video recording skills.
I took this video in 4K quaity. My hands are too shaky..still the video came out to be perfect. The EIS made the video much more stable.
I think the slow motion recording is now improved from the previous generation zenfones. Check this slow motion video taken from Zenfone 3 Ultra, and you will get the idea !
Must say, Camera is a part which I loved the most in this device. In every section it gave out its best !
GAMING REVIEW:-
Gaming on this device is extremely great. The Adreno 510 GPU handles each and every type of game fluently.
I tested 4 games on this device.
1.Chameleon Run:-
2.Riptide GP 2:-
3.Gangstar Vegas:-
4.GP Racing 2:-
Zenfone 3 Ultra handled all the games very smooth except the GP Racing 2.
GP Racing 2 had very minor framedrops..else it was perfect. And those framedrops were literally unnoticable.
I figured out something absurd while testing. When the phone's battery was below 5%, the games started lagging. I am not sure if that happens with each and every phone.
But, overall I think, gaming is super fun on this device. I was not wishing to stop the gaming..even after its testing !
So, that's it for this article. Do share your thoughts in the comments.
Thanks For Reading !
