How to Wipe Partition Cache in Zenfone 5 / Zenfone 6

1.First , turn off the Asus Zenfone 5 by pressing the power button.

2. Press and Hold together: Power Button + Volume Up Button (not volume up) for a few seconds until the ASUS logo appears and then release both the buttons together.




3. You are now in bootloader/droidboot mode. In this mode, choose Recovery using "volume keys" and press Power Button to Select. The phone will now reboot into Recovery mode.



4. Wait until your Asus Zenfone 5 will show the Android Logo in the belly upward posture. Now press and hold Volume Down and while holding it, press and release Volume up button. Then you will see android Recovery mode.


            

5. You  will see 4 options in this mode:

• Reboot system now.
• Apply update from ADB.
• Wipe data/factory reset.
• Wipe cache partition.
  
  

6. Select option 4, then wait for the process to get completed.
Note: Wiping partition for the first time needs patience because it takes too long 10-20min.

7. You will see a message like this at the bottom when the partition wipe process is completed and you will get 4 options on the top again.Select “Reboot System Now”.


   

The phone will now reboot normally.

please tell how to wipe partition cache in asus zenfone 4 a450cg...and when to do this? please..

You may wipe partition cache once in 2 months or after a system/firmware update.

This process remove junk cache generated by apps and previous firmware and speeds up the
phone performance.

I didn't get recovery option in droidboot mode in asus zenfone 4 a450cg....is it has recovery mode or not?...please tell me

Nornally there is no chance of loss of data unless you interrupt the process in between.
