Chapter 1: General
1. The rules and regulations of this forum aimto regulate users' behavior, maintain normal operations of the forum and users'basic rights, and provide better services for users.
2. This user forum adheres to the concept ofpeople-oriented medium and rational discussion. This forum equally provideseach user with freedom of speech and fundamental rights.
3. Users must strictly obey the rules andregulations of this forum.
Chapter 2: Accounts
4. An account using a prohibited alias will besuspended from the forum. Th use of the following names as aliases areprohibited:
(1) Indecent and inappropriatenames;
(2) Names with links toadvertisements or spam;
(3) Names that might be confusedwith or mistaken as the names of forum moderators;
(4) Names that are insulting,provocative, abusive, or defamatory to others;
(5) Other names that are deemedinappropriate by the section group.
5. An account using prohibited photos or imageswill be suspended from the forum. The use of the following photos or images asusers' avatars are prohibited:
(1) Indecent and inappropriatephotos or images;
(2) Photos or images that might beconfused with or mistaken as photos or images of the forum moderators;
(3) Photos or images that areinsulting, provocative, abusive, or defamatory to others;
(4) Other photos or images that aredeemed inappropriate by the section group.
Chapter 3: Information Dissemination
6. An account with prohibitedcontents will be banned from the forum. The following contents are prohibited:
(1) Information that containsobscenities, pornography, threats of violence, propaganda on terrorism, orillegal/criminal activities;
(2) Information that is insulting,slanderous, defamatory, or infringing on the legitimate rights and interest ofothers;
(3) Other information that isprohibited by local laws and regulations.
7. This forum is a technical forum to learn,share, and exchange information. A user is prohibited to repeatedly post thesame content. To post for help, please read the sticky threads or relevantteaching first, and take advantage of the search function of the forum. Forusers who repeatedly post the same contents, the forum moderator could deletethe contents and suspend the user account for 1-3 days depending on theseriousness of the violation. Serious or repeat violators could be permanentlybanned from the forum on the consensus and approval of the section group.
8. The forum contains sections that tacklespecific topics. Users must post contents that are related to the section'stopic only. The forum moderator can delete posts that are meaningless or arenot section-related, and can suspend the user account for 1 to 7 days dependingon the seriousness of the violation. Serious or repeat violators of this rulewill be given a two-point deduction or a maximum of two-month suspension on theconsensus and approval of the section group.
9. The publication of unauthorized commercialadvertisements or other illegal propaganda information is prohibited. Dependingon the seriousness of the violation, the forum moderator can delete messagesand suspend the user account for 14 days. Serious or repeat violators could begiven a maximum of three-month suspension on the consensus and approval of thesection group.
10. Uploading resources and links thatcontain viruses, Trojan horses, and adult-related contents are strictlyprohibited. Depending on the seriousness of the violation, the forum moderatorcan delete posts and suspend the user account for 14 to 30 days. Serious orrepeat violators could be permanently banned from the forum on the consensusand approval of the section group.
11. ZenTalk is an exchange platform for ASUScustomers. Users can consult after-sales problems about ZenFone, PadFone andFonePad in relevant section and customer service staff may resolve yourproblems. For those ZenTalk users who have not replied to ASUS Customer Servicepersonnel's repeated attempts to contact them, ZenTalk has the right to deletethe posts or close the accounts of these users without any notice.
Chapter 4: Handling of Complaints
12. A user can report about prohibited contentsor a violator of the forum rules and regulations. Points will be given to thoseusers whose reports are proven valid and true.
Chapter 5: Other Provisions
13. Inquiries or feedbacks will beentertained from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m to 5:30 pm (Taiwan / GMT+08:00).
14. For effective communication, please postyour inquiries or concerns in English.
15. When it is within the basic principle ofthis forum, other matters may be settled or implemented with the approval ofthe section group's majority and the management group.
16. This forum is especially for discussions oftechnical problems. For service related problems, please contact local servicecenters.
