Congrats You can now move app data to SD Card.

Note: Must Read
  • Do it With your own Risk.
  • If you connect your device with computer through USB. Now You will not be able to use SD card through Computer.
  • Backup your Data before Step 12.
  • No Root access Required
  • You can't use the SD card on other device without Formating.
  • Your device can be slow if you use SD with Low Data reading/writting speed.
  • Always try ejecting SD card before removing it. Otherwise Your SD card can crash easily.
  • Min Class 10 SD card required.
  • You can use Either Internal Storage or SD to keep personal File... Go to settings> Storage and USB> Click on SD> Click 3 Dot> Migrate data to use SD card to keep Personal file and app data.... Then you can only use Internal storage to keep app and App data...
  • To move app data to SD Go Settings> Storage and USB> Click on Internal Storage> Apps> Select the app> Click on Change on Storage use section > Select SD> Move...

It's a good article but the thing is it's unclear whether it's fine to do it because there can be some negative outcomes of this procedure as well. If Asus haven't delivered this feature than there might be some grim reason after all. But anyway nice article

Yes! Beta Moderators still have this question... You may use this if you have Class 10 SD card.... Those who have 16 GB internal storage should use this to move app data to SD....

great post....
I had a few questions before doing it

1. Can I transfer files from SD Card to computer via USB cable like the way we transfer from internal?

2. What will happen if the SD card is removed by mistake when it is formatted as internal ? will the phone work?

3. If I want the SD card back how can I get it? will formatting do?
