Should I do a factory reset after flashing latest pre-rooted system.img? I flashed ver 1902 from ver 1698 on a ZE601KL phone.

Which of the pre-rooted roms should I use for my Asus ZE601KL? There are many starting with ZE601 name. My kernel version is 21.40.1220.1998. Please help

Hi everyone! I am really in a hole right now and would appreciate some help. I have the zenfone 2 laser, ZE601KL, model Z001D. I can not, for some unknown reason, upgrade my android version OTA, and I have tried to upgrade manually but the phone gives me an error message and cancels the upgrade.

I can't understand on how to execute this. Should I start from the top to the bottom? I am really having a hard time understanding this. Could someone enlighten me? Thank you very much. Hey i tryed it to flash a custom pre rooted rom in fastboot i did it well and i wipe factory but when i started for the first time it when in to bootlook...starts when you have to put the language and restarts alone ober and over again...So i try to flash the stock rom i downloaded from official asus site when i try to flash via adb sideload says cant read zip if i flash by sd card its stay stuck verify uptade package...Should i get unlock bootloader so that way the rom that is on the phone to work...What can i do help please
