Android 6.0 Marshmallow was rolled out via FOTA update for ZenFone 2 Laser ZE601KL on July 6, 2016. Here are the details:

• Software update to Android 6.0 Mashmallow. Internal storage will decrease slightly after update, it is recommended back up data and relocate media files (pictures & vides) to SD card to reserve enough storage before starting the software update.
• Android Marshmallow won't support APP2SD. Please move apps to internal storage before system upgrades.
• Multi-user function won't be supported if the account is deleted. Please keep your account to continue usage.
• The apps listed below will no longer be pre-loadeded once your device has been upgraded to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).

Hi. Is this update FOTA also available in the US?
Also, my Zenfone 2 Laser does not show me the option of System Update in About Phone.
In the photo attachment you can see that I only have: Status, Legal Information, Model Number, Android Version, Hardware Information, and Software Information. Opening any of these does not show me any 'Update" at all.
Can anyone help?

If it's WW version then only you can get the FOTA update. If not then I will request you to Kindly wait for the update. Asus will soon provide the update and Please stay tuned to Asus Zentalk.

There is no manual setup available on the website. Only the FOTA available for the version WW only. If yours is  WW version then only you can get the FOTA update. If not then I will request you to wait for the update. Asus will soon provide the update and Please stay tuned to Asus Zentalk.

great update for my ze601kl! no lags at all

Thanks. I've downloaded from Asus website & upgraded to 6.0 manually

After updating to Marshmallow there is problem of continuous notification of Data Roaming Access in Notification Bar, I tried blocking this but there is no option to do that.

How to update to latest version..i am unable to update

Steps of Update:
1. Check software version of your device**
2. Only apply to same SKU update, Example: WW->WW, CN->CN, TW->TW.
3. Software update cannot transfer the software SKU and downgrade the software version.
4. Wrong SKU may cause update failure, please update the same SKU version only.
*How to know the device model?
Path: Settings->About-> Model number
Example: ASUS PadFone2
**How to know the device software version?
Path: Settings->About-> software information->Build number
Example: CHT_PadFone2-user-10.4.17.15-UpdateLauncher
*System upgrade may cause part of data missing, please backup your important data before system upgrading.
