Battery draining faster in Nougat

Even this issue persist with many of the user You are not the only one. Even charging time get affected after Android 7 update.

We have the same problem here. Zenfone 3 5.5 user.

I have the same problem here. ZE552KL. After Android N, the battery charging is slow and the phone use is draining the battery faster than Android M. (Sorry for the poor english).

Ooooooooooooh something for me to test out since apparently my phone doesn't exhibit much of the problems here. But I'll try this. Gotta wait a few days for a response though.

Right now, since I I wrote that before I tried it, it's going to be false. But on Sunday comes the real test. How long are you expecting this battery to last? In all the battery draining posts that I have had to bebunk, I conclude it's the user and how you use the phone. But we'll see.


My battery as of now is at 95%, used it since I unplugged it an hour ago and 13 hours approximately left. This is normal for me as it usually hovers from 95-100%. Without a screenshot of the graph, we can't pinpoint anything.

As of now, I don't have this issue.

How long is your battery lasting? And at what settings? I'll try to duplicate those Sunday at work and post my results.

So yes. My phone had 86% when I went to sleep. It was 84% when I woke up and I slept almost 7h. So in standby it's allright. But when I start using it like I always do, it just starts draining a lot. Yesterday I had 100% when I left home(at 7am) and at 7pm it was already 20%. This thing didn't happened to me before Nougat. It would last 4 more hours till 20%. And I don't use it all the time. I use it like maximum 3h/day.
