i recently bought a zenfone 4 max last Oct 6 and noticed that the phone seem to drain battery faster
case in point - I fully charged my phone up to a 100% and unplugged it from the wall socket at around 1:00 AM. I made sure that I turned off all connections (wi-fi, mobile date, GPS) and checked that there are no apps running in the background
after around 8 hours (around 9:00 AM), the batter of the phone dropped down to 68%. Mind you, I was asleep the whole time and there was absolutely no one using the phone.
given that the zenfone 4 Max comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, I expected something better than this. 32% drop in battery in around 8 hours I think is not normal. I mean, my Samsung Galaxy S3's battery performance is way better than the Zenfone 4 Max when you come to think of it.
and I'm not sure if this will help, here are the answers to bill2_chang_ASUS's questions above:
Do you remember what had been done before this issue occurred?
- The phone is practically brand new and not much has been done on it prior to the issue occurring.
Any software updates or firmware update?
- None.
Which firmware version are you using now?
- Can't remember, but I'm pretty sure it was the FW version the phone came with
Can you post some battery consumption graphs for references?
- These are to follow
Do you use any battery saver features? Which battery saver mode are you mostly on?
- My phone is on super saving, if I'm not mistaken |
