As far as I know, update to ZenUI 4.0 is only available to Zenfone 3 Zoom so far. If your talking about the update from Play Store, you've only updated the ZenUI Laucher that has the ZenUI 4.0 skin. You are still using ZenUI 3.0. ZenUI 4.0 update will only be received through FOTA.
ASUS has promised updates to ZenUI 4.0 and Oreo for entire Zenfone 3 Series. Unfortunately it hasn't arrive yet for other Zenfone 3. So let's just wait patiently until it's finally available.
