You may use Pro mode and adjust your "WB" (aka White Balance) to a higher number Or don't turn your flash on

In order for your screen to turn on, use a third-party messaging app which has a setting to turn on the screen whenever a new message arrives

ZenUI SafeGuard is available for those with the update for ZenUI 4.0. So just wait for the update for ZenUI 4.0 then you're good to go

Zenui 4.0 for zenfone 3 max 5.5? When is the rollout?

According to the announcement during the launching of ZenFone 4 Series, rollout for ZenFone 3 Series would be by 2018, though ZenFone 3 Zoom has received its ZenUI 4.0 update last September or so.

That is just the launcher, but not the UI itself. So basically, you are still on ZenUI 3.0. So it's better if you just wait for the update
