Description: Can't pair with my smartwatch. It did pair once, but it disconnected and never connected again.
I'm having problems with bluetooth really often now. First it was with a pair of headphones, I only got a connection a month later with my Zenfone 3. Now it is with my watch, a Colmi I1. I got it to pair with the WiiWatch app once, then never again. I did a factory reset and it connected again, but 15min later it disconnected again e now I'm unable to connect with the watch. The watch works fine with other devices.

There is a problem with bluetooth on our phones, sadly don't think it will ever get fixed.

I'm hoping for a fix when Oreo come out.
I had a similar problem with Zenfone 2 as well, I think I won't get a Zenfone 4 this time. I really like Asus, but this is making me rethink. Had too many problems with this phone already.

Hi  deathmatch.dm,

Good day.
Please kindly try to update the firmware version to the latest 14.2020.1709.68.
(settings > system update > check update)

If this problem still appears after update, please kindly show me below information.
(1.) Please kindly try to use safe mode for a check. (safe mode : https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1005163)
(2.) Is there any error message pop on when you encounter this problem?  If yes, please kindly show me your screenshot.
(3.) When does this problem start happen?

Have a try. Thank you.

Hi  deathmatch.dm,

Good day.

It did not work. Tried safe mode and still does not connect. I can find the watch and pair, but it does not stay connected (about 2 seconds). It starded since I began using Bluetooth, the first device I tried was the headset, and the same thing happens, it connects once, but as soon as it disconnects, I can't connect anymore. I will try once again factory reset with the new firmware in a few hours. If this doesnt work I give up.

Ps: a Samsung s7 works fine, iphone 7 works fine and a Motorola works fine with the watch.

So, basically, the new update does not fix the existing Bluetooth problem? That is disappointing but hardly surprising.

Hi deathmatch.dm,

Thanks for your reply.

It didn't work, no error message appears on the screen, the app can't find the watch, and when I try to connect manually via Bluetooth it instantly disconnects.
Yes, it is the exactly watch I'm wearing.

I have problems like you after upgrade to WW_14.2020.1709.68_20171003. Before the upgrade bluetooth works very well. I'm very disappointed with my ZenFone.
