Asus zenfone 4 max led indicator duration problem

Am i the only who noticed that the led indicator of  the ZenFone 4 max doesn't last long, because mine was only lasted for 4-9 minutes if there is a notification and then after that it won't blink. Is it a system update issue? Or my device has a problem in led indicator? I've also run the safe mode it blinks when there is a notification like messages. The thing is it only blinks for 4-9 minutes and it wont blink after the said time.

We both have the same problem and phone. They will fix this eventually like after 3mos then pushupdate it to Orea to add more bugs to fix later, by later I mean 6mos or worse a year. This is how they do it. 

does it mean that it is a system update bug? and not a hardware problem?
