SO AFTER UPDATING YOUR ZENFONE 5 TO
KITKAT PLEASE DO A FACTORY RESET
[1]Zenfone Battery Drain Fix
1. Drain battery to 1%. Switch off WiFi and
data.
2. Switch off zenfone and connect charger
and allow it to charge until notifications
led becomes green. It may take long time
around 4 or 5 hours... Sometimes it doesn't
become green. If so switch on with charger
connected and check and you might find it
to be at 94% or so. Switch off and let it
charge more and if it still doesn't reach
100% after switching on( with charger
connected) then it fine even if it's
remaining at 97% .
3. Disconnect charger.
4. Use it and discharge to 92%.
5. Switch off again and charge till led
becomes green.
6. Switch on with charger connected.
7. After home screen comes up disconnect
charger.
Intel deep sleep is now enabled. Lock screen
and check standby. Don't allow battery to
go below zero.
[2]Zenfone APN Crash Fix
1. Simply Pull off Ur current sim.
2. put an other sim in the same slot .
3. now again go to ACCESS POINT NAMES u
will see now u didnt got the error.
4 Tap top right (+) option and create a new
access point name with apn set as OLD
OPERATOR'S APN
5. Now again take out CURRENT SIM and
insert OLD SIM
6. Now go the ACCESS POINT NAMES again this
time it wont crash
7 Again Do STEP 4 .
[3] Zenfone Low Notification Sound Fix
1.BackUp all your messages and contacts on
your SD CARD.
2. Remvoe your Sim and SD card.
3. Do a Factory Reset.
4. After Reset is done,Go through initial
setup and update all the apps from
playstore.
5. Now turn off the phone and put sd and
sim card in your phone and turn on the
phone.
P.S. Do not use Google Now for now until
the new update because its causing sound
bugs.
[4]Zenfone 5 Cache Wipe Partition (How to)
1.Turn off the ASUS ZENFONE
2. Press and Hold together: Power Button +
Volume Up Button for several seconds until
text menu ASUS LOGO appear, then release
both button
3. You are now in bootloader mode. At this
mode, choose Recovery and press Power Button
to confirm or OK
4. Wait until ASUS ZENFONE 5 will show the
Android Logo with the belly upward. Now
press and hold Volume Down and while holding
it press and release Volume up button and
then we will see android system Recovery
Mode.
5. You have 4 option in this mode 1)Reboot
system now 2)Apply update from ADB 3)Wipe
data/factory reset 4)Wipe cache partition
6. Select option 4 then reboot.
Note: wiping partition for the first time
needs patience because it takes too long.

but to make audio correct what is the use of factory reset all data will be lost nd i have a lot of apps
please suggest a different way
