Enginnering Mode is different from Test mode..

In Engineering mode, you can do changes to critical settings... Correct me if wrong.. I've seen something similar in Mtk ROMs...

There is no such feature in ZenUI as of now!

Possible in devices with MTK processor only.


So, I guess NO for ZenFone 5.

plz tell me anyone. i have a asus zenfone 5 T00J mobile phn but i don't use 4G bcoz this mobile is not support 4G.
but I heard about MTK engineers mode app is change network mode 3G to 4G, I have installed this app and do continue to process. but show error Mediatek Chipset is mandatory. and i will check my phone in not installed mediatek chipset, it's in installed Intel Atom. so plz tell how to use 4G in this phone,  plz tell me another way. thankx

Hi Rohit,

MTK engineers mode app will b useful only for Mediatek Chipset as u said. Since Asus Zenfone 5 comes with Intel Chipset it is not possible to change the settings. Only option is to go for 4G supported devices.

Its not Engineering Mode, its just SMMI Test
I don't think, Engineering Mode is available in ASUS
