Retrieve Password Asus Browser

hi,

I Forgot Password to one site's login, the same password is saved on my Zenfone Selfie's Asus Browser, is there a way that I can retrieve the password. the phone i snot rooted.

I cant reset the password as the  reset confirmation email is not reaching my mailbox.

Can someone guide me on how to retrieve saved password in Asus Browser. I can try rooting phone if require but will avoide it as the phone belong to my Sis and there is stil 5 months warrenty left on it.

I have never tried this but check if below solution helps you:
use adb backup com.android.browser to create a backup of browser on your device
use TitaniumBackup to restore to another device
copy webview.db from /data/data/com.android/browser/databases/ and extract password from it.

Hi Bikram,

There is no official way to retrieve the password from the browser.

If you have forgot the password you can check with the website for further support on the same they would help you with the reset link.

Was screaming on my sis why the hell she didnt use Firefox Instead.... uninstalled ASUS browser and made Firefox default.

The phone is not rooted... Dont know if this backup will still work.... Anyway... have uninstalled the ASUS browser...

and made Firefox as default...

Yes... I checked on my SPAM filter and the mails were stuck there... I forcefully delivered it and all set now.
