【ZenFone 3 Max 5.5】Android 7.1 Nougat update

Been using the nougat update for 2 weeks now and to be honest I've seen nothing wrong with it except for the brightness bug (auto 100% max brightness even when set at 80) and the *143# in globe telco bug (in which some options cannot be displayed).

For those who are experiencing bugs, did you guys do the factory reset via recovery after the system upgrade? AFAIK, it was clearly stated in the ASUS site that you should do a factory reset after upgrading (mind you, all data from the internal memory will be erased so be sure to copy your important files on a sd card or transfer them to your laptop).

Btw, I manually updated my Zenfone Max 5.5 the moment the official update was released.

I'm still afraid of updating my phone

Did a factory reset after nougat update, cleared cache partition, got rid of useless apps/bloats, kept everything as it was, still drains faster. I had a lot of apps installed before the update (mm) w/ moderate gaming, youtube, camera, peysbook-peysbook and i still have extra juice of batt about 15-20% the next day. After the update i have to charge everynight. They have taken down the firmware on the support link this model after numerous issues. As of this moment the link wont even load.

when asus zenfone 3 max zc553kl got new update to fix bugs on Android N??

I didnt get update my zenfone 3 max...plz can u help me

I have already check the process but there it show that my phone is update, but when i check it, it marshmallow 6.1.1 not nougat 7.1.1, I need nougat update in my phone ZenFone 3 max

The firmware has been taken down from the asus support site. Stay with MM for now. If I have a way of getting back to MM, I will. Nougat still has performance issues.

dont update to Android N too many bugs...not stable yet...wait till they make a new update to fix bugs on Android N
