Photo Optimization turned OFF is BETTER than AUTO mode?

I did many little tests, i compared images from Auto mode and Off optimization, actually the details from auto mode when zooming in was so bad and soft...
But in off optimization, the images have better details and more sharp, but in some condition like so many letters, thats some miss details in the letters and cant read them...
Asus, please improve the software processing, how bad that Off optimization > than Auto mode?
