Hellooooo friends, I recently installed the Google keyboard on my ZenFone 2 (same process for all Zenfones) and thought I'd share a small guide to help you all. There are many keyboard apps available that can be used instead of the default keyboard like Touchpal Keyboard, Swype , Swift Key etc etc . But today I will guide you will simple steps on how to switch between different keyboards after installing them
Lets begin by installing the Google Keyboard. You can install it from Play Store as shown below. You may also install other keyboards and later on switch between them as I will show you in the steps below.
Install Google Keyboard:
Now go to ZenFone settings and tap on Language and Input marked in red. It will open up the screen as shown below. You will listed all the available keyboard options including the Google Keyboard marked in green. You will also notice that the Current keyboard by default is Asus Keyboard as seen below.
Tap on Current Keyboard above to open up popup window as shown below and select the Google keyboard. If you have more keyboards installed then you will also get options to select them. You will notice that the current keyboard has now become Google Keyboard as marked in green.
Now when you open up your browser to type you will see the newly selected Keyboard and in this case you can see that its the Google keyboard that pops up as shown below:
Hope you enjoy other keyboards with this tutorial and let me know if it has been useful to you.
