Why can't I access data on my phone after it is recognized by PC?

If you set your screen lock as "Pattern", "PIN" or "Password", you will not have access to data of either internal space or SD card when it is connected to PC without unlocking the screen. To solve this problem, please unlock the screen to allow the PC to access your data on your phone.
