Yes.. You can Use SD card to transfer file to pc through USB. Or you use SD to keep file and App data . Then You need to Select Migrate Data option on SD card.
NOte:You can use Either Internal Storage or SD card to keep files like video music.... Just click on Migrate Data...If SD got remove by mistake your SD may crash... If it crashes then you need to format sd to re use it.. All dada will be gone... Eject Remove is recommended..

I thought using cmd will terminate the rule as of cmd is a advance thing and the commands to implement external storage with internal might indicate trespass its breach... let's see what moderators say...
Did you notice anything unusual after you did this to your device? Some of us are reluctant to do this because it is not official from asus..but im running low on memory space (3GB) and your method is tempting ..lol
