No GPS fix on Padfone A86 WW_12.4.0.72

Ther is bad GPS fix on Padfone A86 firmware WW_12.4.0.72 .

The GPS can fix when we are on foot, but it get lost easily when driving.
This was working fine before this firmware.
Everyone as the same issue.

I owned Padfone S having similar issue like you. GPS signal is easily loss on the drive time to time. It's normally say 'Inaccurated GPS signal'

Same here, same firmware.

Finds no sattelite even with GPS fix tools.

i read a lot of people have this problem and Asus is doing nothing about it.

I was a happy padfone user for 3 years but now i am very dissapointed.

I have solved my GPS problem by downgrading to kitkat. I was planning to send in my phone for repair but tried this as a last resort. now maps is finding and holding GPS.
It doesn't work as well as before and loses GPS signal on a regular base but it finds it again also, under android 5 there was no GPS. So this is better.

I've got the same problem with my A86. The GPS doesn't fix even if I use the A-GPS function. I'm actually with the latest firmware also. @Marc_QRY : to be back in a KitKat firmware make your GPS working? I should downgrade too. What did you do to downgrade?

A downgrade is the same as an upgrade and yes after the downgrade the GPS works not very good but it works. It loses the signal on a regular base but it also finds it again, under android 5 there was no GPS.

You perform a downgrade same as an upgrade and after the downgrade maken a cache wipe and a factory reset.

After this it should be working.

I'm relieved to see I'm not alone to encounter this issue. Does anyone know if Asus will solve it ?

I returned to KK and no changes to the GPS no fix !

Me neither. Downgrade my padfone to KK doesn't change the fact that the GPS still not fix .
