【International Judge1】The ZenFone photography world of Kyo

Kyo is the man who stepped into the north pole for eleven times, chased aroura almost two hundred nights.
Love to travel and have walked through almost forty countries at his pleasure.
Travel enormous distances to many places such as the North Pole, the South Pole, and the Easter Islands only to look for the original beauty of the earth.
He has won over 300 awards in total over the past eight years.

2016 ASUS Photography Awards invited Kyo to be one of the jury with pleasure and we are really appreciated that Kyo could share his photography works and skills with ZenFans. Now, let's enjoy a big visual feast together!

Q: The ZenFans also want to take amazing pictures with their ZenFone just like you. Could you please share your photography skills with ZenFone through your experiences? What do ZenFans need to pay attention to the manual mode setting, view finding, composing or post-production, etc.?

It is enough to use the Auto or HDR mode during the day. Using HDR mode well can adjust the situation of high contrast which can help you to find the most balanced way for your photograhy works. To capture starry sky, tracks or aurora, you can use night mode, low-light model or manual mode during evening. Actually, the key of how to capture a great picture is not how good or bad the equipment is, but the stability when you take pictures. The shutter becomes slower when you take photos during the evening or using low-light mode, you can improve the situation by using a tripod to avoid the shaking. For me, the most important thing is not capturing beautiful scenery, but how you communicate through your photography works.Virtually everyone trains their aesthetics through snapshots, and you can even have prescient imagination to make you virtually expect that there will be a streak of light, a person, or an element coming out to make your frame get closer to your ideal composition while shooting the scene.

Q: Could you please say something to encourage ZenFans who are keenly interested in photography and would like to develop to become professional photographer?

Keep observing and photographing! It was incredible to keep taking pictures with a SLR(Single Lens Reflex) long time ago. Thanks to digital technologies, you can capture anything you want without the limitation and get instant feedback through the screen. You don’t have any reason not to take anytime and anywhere. As long as you keep trying, learning, figuring out how to improve your photography skills, you will find the knowledge of photography is no limitation. And you will also find that every corner is worthy of being carefully observed and explored through the “Photography Eye”.

The most important thing is to enjoy the photography from your heart. Actually, it is not very important of what your topic is, what level your equipment is, or the arrangement of people, things, time, situation and location. The beauty is what you see in your eyes, and it is the mind in your heart, as long as you feel it from your mood, develop your fantastic imagination with a light-hearted mood. This is the most important spirit of photography.

Please refer to the rule of "2016 ASUS Photography Awards" "Terms and Conditions #3"
". . . . . . One participant should only select one site to submit allyour photos, do not jump to another country. Otherwise, your qualification will be cancelled."

However we can find there are participants submit his/her photoworks to two or more contest sites (country and global).
It is obiously againt the stated contest rules. But I don't understand why Zentalk editors still encourage such violation by recognizing those participants' photos as digest.

A kind reminder hererby to Zentalk editors please take serious note on such violation of the rules so the 2016 contest can be treated and judged farely.
And those violation submittions shouldn't be recognized as a digest.
