2014 Delegate of the Security Council

True to my word, I returned to PAMUNfor the second time having participated in PAMUN 2013. This year, I wasassigned to the Security Council as Lithuania and though it was no easy feat, Ithoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend it again.

In my opinion, PAMUN remains one ofthe best conferences not only in Asia but around the world, especially foruniversity students. Having been to numerous conferences including HarvardWorld MUN, PAMUN boosts an impressive administration and logistical qualities.Moreover, it remains a great way to get new enthusiasts excited about Model UN.The well-organized nature of the conference makes it almost seamless for delegatesto quickly grasp the concepts and inner-workings of any conference. This alsoallows them to focus on the academic aspect of MUN without having to worryabout cursory issues.

As a repeat participant, I have alsonoticed that PAMUN has grown from strength to strength. The team workstirelessly to improve their conference every year and take every feedbackseriously. I believe that this keeps the conference dynamic and reassuresdelegates that nothing is taken for granted. I would highly recommend PAMUN tostudents of all experience levels. Not to mention, being situated in Taipeimakes the conference a huge draw for anyone who wishes to see and learn moreabout Taiwan.
