      This motherboard supports the latest Intel® Xeon processor 3400 series, Intel® desktop processor Core i7-800 series, Intel® desktop processor Core i5-700 series in LGA 1156 package, which has memory and PCI Express controller integrated to support 2-channel (6 DIMMs) DDR3 memory and 16 PCI Express 2.0 lanes. The new platform architecture has significant improvement in performance and the processor is one of the most powerful and energy efficient CPU in the world.

      Quad Enterprise-class LAN Ports

      P7F-C/4L is built with four GbE LAN ports to enhance networking transfer rate around 4 times faster than the Single-LAN Platform. With teaming enabled, four LAN ports can act like a single LAN with 4 times bandwidth. In addition, the network failover capability gives you fault tolerance function to minimize system down time. The teaming & failover function enable higher bandwidth aggregation and reliable network connection.

      2 PCI-E x8 & 4 PCI slot for Legacy Devices

      The P7F-C series serverboards are equipped with 6 expansion slots, with 2 support PCI-E x16 (x8 link) and 4 support PCI interface. The design meets general and specific needs. The flexible & scalable expansion slots are especially geared for the special-purpose servers. It caters to server appliance market which the board targets on.

      Support DDR3 UDIMM/ RDIMM

      P7F-C/4L supports UDIMM and RDIMM DDR3 memory that features data transfer rates of 1333/1066 MHz to meet the higher bandwidth requirements of server applications. The 2-channel DDR3 architecture boosts system performance, eliminating bottlenecks. Furthermore, the supply voltage for the memory is reduced from 1.8 V for DDR2 to just 1.5V for DDR3. This voltage reduction limits the power consumption and heat generation of DDR3 which makes it an ideal memory solution.
