Q : Am I eligible to enter the ASUS ProArtist Awards?

Whether you’re a casual creator or a creative professional, this competition is for all age and to enter without any fee. However, if you’re under the legal age of your country, a proof material about you legal guardians and such legal guardians' consent to your participation in the Awards as well as other necessary materials would need to be provided to ASUS to verify if a prize is won. Just sign in as an ASUS member and submit your work now!
Q : How many submissions can I make for each category? Can I submit to more than one category?

One person can use one account to submit one different piece of work for each category, but you may enter multiple categories with different works.
Q : What kind of works are allowed?
A :
Please follow each category’s submission guidelines here. Entries must be original, related to the event theme, and must have been created within one year prior to the date you submit them to the ASUS ProArtist Awards. Any work that's been published on any 3rd party platform for any financial purposes or any client works will not be eligible for the competition. Proof of originality in the form of the original source file from the originating software or a recorded working process is needed when accepting a prize.
Q : Do I need to create my entry with an ASUS laptop?
A :
ASUS provides the best tools for you to break the creative boundaries and seeing an incredible future, but it is not compulsory - use whatever tools you wish!
Q : When is the deadline for submissions?
A :
The deadline for submissions to the ASUS ProArtist Awards is 10:00 GMT on July 24, 2023.
Q : What information do I need to provide for submissions?
A :
Other than uploading your work, you’ll need to provide the title of your work, a brief introduction (100-word limit) and your name in the submission tab.
Q : When and how are the results announced?
A :
ASUS will announce the winners on Aug 15th via ASUS official website and social media channels. After the announcement, ASUS will contact winning entrants via their registered email addresses within a few business days.
Q : Do I have to integrate the Pantone® color into my artwork, in order to be eligible for the competition?
A :
No. Your artwork will be eligible for the competition without Pantone® color, but we encourage you to integrate it and explore the possibilities of the new color.
Q : Is it possible to win the first / second place and Pantone® Special Award at the same time?
A :
Yes. It is possible to win the first/ second place and Pantone® Special Award at the same time, if your artwork is outstanding both in the chosen submission category and its Pantone® color harmony.
Q : Does ASUS have the rights to use my artworks?
A :
All entrants must agree that any artworks submitted to the competition may be used by the ASUS ProArtist Awards, for the sole purpose of promoting the competition. For more information, please visit terms.
Q : Can I leverage the assistance of AI generated art platform to create the submission?
A :
Due to the ambiguous copyright status of AI Generated art (DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, etc), we do not allow any kind of AI Generated art. However, we plan to add a category for AI Art when the copyright status of AI Art has been more clearly decided and clarified.
Q : Can I submit as a team? If I’d like to submit as a team, should I submit under one name or?
A :
Yes, you can submit as a team under one name you’d like to use. Just one entry on behalf of your team will be accepted. The only rule is that double submission from the same entrant is not allowed.
Q : Should I need to acquire the copyright or present a proof of licensing acquired for any 3rd party image, footage audio or sound effect used in my submission? Can I used royalty-free asset?
A :
You can use royalty-free asset as long as you can prove the source. In order to protect copyright of every creation, we will make sure every image, footage, audio or sound effect used in every submission is acquired legally, with royalty purchased when giving out awards, if you failed providing any proof, you may lose the opportunity of winning.
