[NUC] Fan Failure and Random Crash on NUC13RNG with Arc™ Graphics after Windows Sleep

Resolution

Normally the Modern Standby is enabled (by default), Change the sleep type to Legacy S3 Standby instead of Modern Standby in BIOS.

  1. Press F2 during boot to enter BIOS Setup.
  2. Select the Power menu, then select the Secondary Power Settings.
  3. Within Sleep Type support, set to Legacy S3 Standby.
  4. Press F10 to save and exit the BIOS Setup.
