Asus no repite errores en cuanto a elección del SoC, optando una vez más por uno de los modelos más punteros disponibles, el BCM47094 con dos núcleos a 1.4Ghz. El rendimiento USB hace evidentes las mejoras, y entre el excelente firmware de serie y el soporte para DD-WRT son la guinda del pastel.

Mantiene la excelencia conectiva, tanto a nivel de periféricos o almacenamiento, como en el propio motor ethernet pudiendo usar agregación de enlaces, para conectar un NAS de alto rendimiento o directamente a un switch compatible. Eso, otros modelos que prometen más capacidad wifi, no lo tienen.
