Irregular Business Conduct Report Channel


Integrity is the most important core value of the ASUS Group culture, and it is a guiding business principle across the entire organization. ASUS is committed to maintaining ethical practices in all aspects of our business, and we will not tolerate any form of corruption or fraud. If you discover or suspect unethical conduct or a breach of ASUS policy by an ASUS employee or anyone representing ASUS, please contact us via audit@asus.com. We will make corrective measures and resolve sanction proposals after a thorough investigation carried out.

Your reports will be submitted directly to ASUS Top Management ONLY, and all information will remain strictly confidential. ASUS will not tolerate any form of retaliation against anyone who submits a report in good faith or assists the investigation procedure. We will make sure to put the person in safe situation as well as to ensure his/her right to work and economy.


Issues to report include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Employees bribe, participate or assist any form of corruption or extortion.
  • Gifts made to an employee or his/her extended family member, including cash or other items.
  • Employees receive commissions, kickbacks, rebates, or any other illegal benefits from stakeholders.
  • Except for meals, employees accept free-of-charge trips or private benefits -- including trips to any inappropriate and/or unethical business premises, which may damage the corporate image - from stakeholders.
  • By using their position and power given, employees or his/her extended family member engage in loan or investment relationships which are not available through the public market with existing/potential business stakeholders.
  • Employees ask vendors to provide any service that is not directly related to procurement, or do not comply with ASUS procurement policies for fairly conducting procurement.
  • By using their position and advantages of company information, employees involve insider trading, confidentiality breaches, or any other action that violates company interests.

Reminders:


  • Unless otherwise required by law, the information you report - including personal data - shall be appropriately protected by ASUS and will remain strictly confidential.
  • To help ASUS promptly conduct an investigation and/or resolve an issue, please contain as much detailed information and documents as possible in your report. Please note that if documents are incomplete, or if there is insufficient information, the investigation may be hampered.
  • ASUS may use your personal information, including your name, telephone number and email address, to facilitate the investigation or to contact you. If necessary, ASUS may share your personal information with its subsidiaries.
  • You may not act maliciously or knowingly or willfully make any false statements in your report. You shall assume liability for any allegations that prove to have been made maliciously or were known to be false.
  • You may not disclose any or part of the information provided to ASUS. Unless otherwise required by law, you may not file a lawsuit using the correspondence between you and ASUS.
