Google support for ASUS Chromebox 2 (CN62) expires in June 2021
ASUS Chromebox 2 (CN62) is a previous-generation Chrome OS device powered by 5th Gen Intel® processors and featuring excellent performance for ultrafast multitasking. Google has scheduled for this model’s auto update support to expire in June 2021, which means that customers with CN62 devices will no longer receive the latest Google features, Chrome OS updates and Google Workspace support.
How to upgrade
Customers are eligible to participate in this upgrade program if they purchased their CN62 as part of an ASUS — Google Meet hardware kit (formerly ASUS — Hangouts Meet hardware kit) that included the touchscreen control panel, Huddly GO camera and speakermic. Customers are able to purchase ASUS – Google Meet compute system unit through an authorized reseller.
