[NUC] Why are three different versions of the BIOS for the NUC15 Pro and NUC 15 Pro+, and what happens if I use the wrong one?

The NUC15CR[x][x][x] product line has three BIOS options for the different kits/mini-pcs.  These BIOS options are not interchangeable between the two types of products, and they are “keyed” to the platform they are intended to be used with:

The NUC15CRKU5 / NUC15CRHU5 / NUC15CRKU7 / NUC15CRHU7 / NUC15CRSU5 / NUC15CRSU7 / NUC15CRSU9 uses the CRARL579. XXXX structure and is intended for use with boards using the Intel® Processor 225H, 255H or 285H.

The NUC15CRKV5 / NUC15CRHV5 / NUC15CRKV7 / NUC15CRHV7 / NUC15CRSV5 / NUC15CRSV7 uses the CRARLV57.XXXX structure and is intended for use with boards using the Intel® Processor 235H or 265H.

The NUC15CRKC3 / NUC15CRKC5 / NUC15CRKC7 / NUC15CRHC3 / NUC15CRHC5 / NUC15CRHC7 uses the CRRPLR30.XXXX structure and is intended for use with boards using the Intel® Processor 100U, 210H or 240H.
