Meeting the stringent US MIL-STD 810H military standard in 24 tests, this laptop has passed rigorous military-grade testing and ASUS internal durability tests. To protect the display from damage during Travel in crowded Public Transport or compressed storage spaces the Top Part of the ASUS ExpertBook P1 is tested for 25kgs panel pressure test minimising the probability of display damage.
The 180-degree Hinge provides full stress-free flexible movement and is tested for a whopping continuous 50,000 times open/close cycles. Thus, even if you open and close your hinge 10 times a day and work for 250~300 days a year the Hinge has been tested easily for 15-20 years of everyday extensive usage. Each of the ports are secured with metal braces, so that they deal with as much as 9kgs of pressure.
