This FAQ provides a quick reference guide to help you understand the various LED indicators on your RP-AX50 repeater. By interpreting these lights, you can quickly assess the device's operational status, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot common connectivity or setup problems at a glance.

 

RP-AX50 LED Indicator Meanings

Below is a detailed breakdown of each LED indicator, its possible states, and what each state signifies:

 

1. Power (PWR) LED

The Power LED indicates the RP-AX50's power status.

GreenThe RP-AX50 is powered on and operating.N/A (Normal operation)
Blinking GreenThe RP-AX50 is starting up.Please wait for the device to fully boot. Do not power off during this process.
OffThe RP-AX50 is powered off.Check the power connection and power adapter. Ensure the device is plugged into a working outlet.

 

2. WPS LED

The WPS LED indicates the status of the WiFi Protected Setup (WPS) function on your RP-AX50.

Blinking GreenWPS setup is in progress.Wait for the WPS pairing process to complete. If it continues to blink for an extended period, try initiating WPS again on both the RP-AX50 and your device.
OffWPS is not active.N/A (WPS is not currently being used or has completed/failed).

 

3. Signal LED

The Signal LED provides an indication of the connection strength between your RP-AX50 repeater and the Parent AP / Router.

YellowNormal signal.The connection is good, but you might consider repositioning the RP-AX50 for a potentially stronger signal if optimal performance is desired.
