How to Set Up Channels
After a channel is connected (see Chapter 4), you can talk to ASUS Zenni Claw from your phone through the messaging app. Your messages are routed to the agent on your PC, and its replies come back in the same conversation. The PC running Zenni Claw must be powered on with the ASUSclaw service running for messages to be answered.
◉Note: Only user IDs in a channel’s allowed list can use the bot. To add or remove people, click Edit on the channel, update the list, and Save.
Telegram
- On the Channels page, confirm the Telegram channel shows Connected and that your Telegram user ID is in the channel’s allowed user list.
- On your phone, open Telegram and start a chat with the bot you created in @BotFather (search for the bot’s username).
- Send /start, then type any request in natural language. The agent replies in the same conversation, and follow-up messages keep the session context.
- On your phone, open Telegram and start a chat with @userinfobot. It replies with your numeric Telegram user ID — copy this ID.
- Back to ASUS Zenni Claw. Add your Telegram user ID to the allowed user list in Channel page, then Save.
- Confirm the WhatsApp channel shows Connected and that your number is in the allowed user list.
- On your phone, open WhatsApp and send a message to the linked account.
- Type your request and the agent replies in the same chat. To revoke access later, unlink the device in WhatsApp → Settings → Linked Devices, or remove your ID from the channel’s user list in the app.
