ASUS CyberView Portal is a Windows application designed specifically for the LCD module equipped with the ROG Cronox chassis.
Users can use this software to customize dashboards and notification boards, and sync them to the LCD for clear, at-a-glance information.

A. How to install ASUS CyberView Portal?
1. Go to the ROG Cronox support page > Driver and Tools > Select Operating System > Click the [Download] button to download the file.

2. After unzipping the downloaded file, run the installation file and follow the on-screen instructions.
Wait for the installation to complete.


3. The following window shows that the program has been installed.
Connect the LCD module’s USB (Type-A) cable to your computer and click [Finish] to launch the CyberView Portal program to begin setup

- Main screen (Dashboard):
Displays an LCD preview screen, device connection status, quick access to screen settings, and system information (such as fan speed, CPU frequency, temperature/voltage, etc.)

*Note: If the computer is not connected to the LCD Module, it will show as [Not Connected] and you will not be able to adjust the screen settings

- Screen Settings:
Theme Editing
You can apply ROG style preset themes, adjust information items, display location, and color scheme, or upload custom materials to create themes.

- Notification Editing
You can create text notifications and set the date/time and playback schedule. Supports emojis, text styles, and marquee effects.
Focus Mode - Focus Mode will pause notification playback and editing to avoid interruptions.

- Settings Page:
Main Screen> Gear icon (at the Upper right )

Display Settings: Screen/ Brightness/Orientation
Set software interface language/ temperature unit/ shutdown button behavior/ auto start on boot/ notifications
Clock Settings: Set time format/digital clock mode (enable/disable on startup and shutdown)/clock style/world clock (up to four cities can be added)
System Information: Export Log/Software Version/Firmware Version/Firmware Update

Q1. Supported operating systems?
A1: ASUS CyberView Portal supports Windows 10/11 64-bit.
Q2. How to set the display language for ASUS CyberView Portal?
A2: Go to Settings > General > Language and select the desired display language from the dropdown menu (Supported languages: English/Traditional Chinese/Simplified Chinese)

Q3. How to set ASUS CyberView Portal to start automatically when the system boots?
A3: Go to the settings screen > General > Auto Start on Launch > Select [on].

Q4. How to customize the LCD display?
A4: Click [Screen Settings] > [Theme Editor].
Display items: Click the information template you want to display from the right-side list to the preview window
Them settings: You can select from the default themes or customized them from the media library at the bottom of the screen.

You can adjust style/color, and click the left-side [+] to add a custom theme.
Custom theme file formats supported: JPG/PNG/GIF/MP4, maximum size ≤20MB)
Q5. Why are notifications not displaying/playing?
A5: Troubleshooting steps are as follows:
1. Turn off Focus Mode: Turning on Focus Mode will disable Notification Mode and prevent message editing.
2. Confirm the message is added to the schedule: After editing, you must press "✓" to add it to the playback queue.
3. Confirm notification time/date: Notifications will play according to the schedule; after setting, the default playback time is 30 minutes later.
4. Confirm the screen is on: If [off] is set in "Settings > Screen Settings", the system will skip the reminder for that period of time.
5. Turn off Digital Clock Mode: When Digital Clock Mode is on, themes and notification functions will be temporarily suspended, and a prompt message will appear on the related settings screen as shown below

Q6. Why can't the digital clock be displayed after shutting down? What conditions are required?
A6: To display the digital clock after shutdown, the following conditions must be met:
1. Settings > Clock > Digital Clock Mode/Use when shut down > [on].
2. The motherboard USB port continues to provide power in S4/S5 (sleep/shutdown); it is recommended to first confirm whether your motherboard supports this setting.

*Note: If there is a power outage or the power cord is unplugged after shutdown, you will need to boot into the operating system and launch the CyberView Portal program again after restoring power.
Q7. How to update the LCD module firmware?
A7: (The following screen uses updating firmware version V1.0.0 as an example; please refer to the actual support page for the latest firmware version)
1. Download the latest firmware file from the ROG Cronox support page and extract the file.
(In CyberView Portal > Settings > System Information > Firmware Version > Check for Updates, it will also automatically open the support page link)
2. Open CyberView Portal > Settings > Firmware Version > Browse

3. Specify the update file inside the OTA folder.
4. When you see the screen below, it means the firmware update has started. Please do not move or unplug the monitor's USB cable during the process.

5. The screen below indicates the firmware update is complete. Once the LCD automatically restarts, the update is finished.
6. Enter the settings page again to confirm the firmware has been updated to the latest version.
