[NUC] "Error Code 52" in Device Manager for Management Engine on a NUC.

Resolution

To solve error Code 52 in Device Manager, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to the Download Center.
  2. Search for the latest Management Engine driver for your NUC and download the .zip file.
  3. Go to Device Manager and expand the System devices section.
  4. Right-click on  Management Interface and select Uninstall Device.
  5. Restart the PC.
  6. Once back on, search for the downloaded driver file and unzip it.
  7. Execute the .exe and follow the steps prompted for the installation.
  8. Go back to Device Manager and make sure the code is gone.
