[NUC] "Error Code 52" in Device Manager for Management Engine on a NUC.
Resolution
To solve error Code 52 in Device Manager, perform the following steps:
- Go to the Download Center.
- Search for the latest Management Engine driver for your NUC and download the .zip file.
- Go to Device Manager and expand the System devices section.
- Right-click on Management Interface and select Uninstall Device.
- Restart the PC.
- Once back on, search for the downloaded driver file and unzip it.
- Execute the .exe and follow the steps prompted for the installation.
- Go back to Device Manager and make sure the code is gone.
