[Wireless Router] GT-AX11000 Pro 2.5Gbps / 10Gbps FAQs

The GT-AX11000 Pro has one 2.5 Gbps port and one 10 Gbps port that can be configured for either WAN or LAN operation.

Notice: the related information needs to be confirmed with your Internet Service Provider (ISP)

1. 2.5G/10G compatible with 1G?

Yes.

2. If I connect a 1G cable modem to the 10G port configured as a WAN port, will it function at 1G?

Yes.

3. If I connect a 2.5G cable modem to the 10G port configured as a WAN port, will it function at 2.5G?

Yes.

Note: Please confirm with your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for the broadband speed information.

4. Can combine a 10G port and 2.5G port for WAN aggregation on the GT-AX11000 Pro?

Only 2.5G WAN port can be used.

With WAN aggregation, you can combine a 2.5G port and a 1G port to unlock up to 3.5G of WAN bandwidth.

Note: When the Internet service provider (ISP) provides a bandwidth greater than 1G for a single network line, it can use the 2.5G WAN port.

Settings: Go to router settings page(WebGUI) > Quick Internet Setup > Advanced Settings > Wireless router mode (Default) > Select 2.5G WAN, then finish setup process.
