[IP camera] How will the signal of my ZenEye Cam and Base Station be negatively impacted by distance or obstacles?

Wi-Fi signals are a radio frequency / electromagnetic wave, any brick walls, concrete floors or metal objects that are between an ZenEye Cam and Base Station will block Wi-Fi signals.

After placing your devices check the Wi-Fi signal of your ZenEye Cam using the App and ensure the Wi-Fi signal strength is at least 3 bars to maintain a good Wi-Fi transmission rate.

You can also try to stream live video from your ZenEye Cam. The video playback will be smooth if there is a good Wi-Fi transmission rate.

Note: A weak signal will quickly drain your ZenEye Cam's battery. Place your ZenEye Cam no farther than 30 meters from the Base Station and ensure the signal strength is at least two bars.
