[LCD Monitor] How to Clean LCD/OLED Panel/Monitor

Cleaning LCD/OLED panels (including sensors) requires special attention and care to avoid damaging the screen. Here are some safe and effective cleaning methods:

Materials Needed:

Microfiber cloth: A soft cloth that will not scratch the screen.
Purified water: Avoid using water containing minerals.
Spray bottle: Used to spray cleaning fluid onto the microfiber cloth, rather than directly onto the screen.

Cleaning Steps:

Power Off Device: Before lifting or repositioning the monitor, please power off the monitor and unplug its cables and power cord to prevent a short circuit or other risks.
Dry Cloth Cleaning: Gently wipe the screen surface with a clean microfiber cloth to remove dust and loose particles.
Damp Cloth Cleaning: Lightly spray a small amount of purified water onto a microfiber cloth (Do NOT spray directly onto the screen or sensor), then gently wipe the screen surface, avoiding excessive force.
Drying the Screen: Gently dry the screen surface with a clean, dry microfiber cloth. If not completely clean after one pass, you may repeat the cleaning process 2-3 times.

Precautions:

Avoid using alcohol or ammonia-based cleaners: These chemicals may damage the screen's coating.
Be careful not to spray liquid directly onto the screen: Liquid may seep into the edges of the screen, causing damage to internal components.
Avoid excessive force: Excessive force may damage the screen or leave scratches.
By following the above methods, you can safely and effectively clean LCD/OLED panels (including sensors) to maintain a clear and undamaged screen.
